Heidi Frei gets back on her feet

29.09.2016

Heidi Frei suffered a stroke at the age of 35. She spent ten years fighting to get back on her feet, and had to relearn everything from scratch.

Until recently, she experienced severe pain when walking. Hard shoes caused her feet to seize up. They squashed her toes together and made her feet cramp. The soft, elastic springy soles of the air-cushion shoe from kybun have succeeded in alleviating this tension. This Swiss invention has significantly reduced Heidi Frei’s pain, and she has much more energy now. While this special shoe has not cured her disability, it does make her life easier by greatly reducing her discomfort.
